Woodbridge Corporate Park

Federal Way, WA

Woodbridge Corporate Park, Weyerhaeuser’s former world headquarters, includes 830,000 square feet of office, lab and industrial space. The site which sits on 425 acres, includes the entire office headquarters and the Tech Center, which consists of the combination of lab, office, flex-space, with separate lobby entrances for multiple tenants.

The Woodbridge Corporate Park also features one of the first green roof applications in the Pacific NW and is one of the first open landscape office designs in the United States. Designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, the building includes interior elements such as large rectangular floor plates, 15′ floor-to-floor heights with 10 ft ceilings, continuous non-sash window-wall system, and diagonal column placement.

It is estimated that this project will restore about half of the jobs lost, creating new employment opportunities across the income spectrum in ways that strengthen the South Sound economy, provide sustainable revenue streams to grow the city budget, and enhance funding opportunities for essential public safety programs while preserving its natural features.
